Viper II Travel

We took 3 of the Viper II rods and turned them into full-blooded travel rods, by making them in 7 pcs. models. And the outcome is awesome.

In the old days a 7 pcs rod would be a clumsy and top-heavy rod with an action and backbone like a boiled spaghetti.

NOT ANYMORE!!

The Viper II Travel has turned out to be a group of very interesting rods for the travelling fisherman. Now there is no excuse not to have a rod in your suitcase – well it could almost fit your inner pocket….

They only measure 47,5 cm, including the cordura tube.

The action is very alike the 4 pcs versions of the Viper II – of course it is a bit deeper, but you will be amazed how fast they still are.

We have made it in 3 weight classes to cover most fishing in our part of the world, from trout/grayling to seatrout, rainbow trout and Pike and seabass for the biggest # 9 version.

The blank is made with 40 ton high pressure UD Graphite (unidirectional carbon fibers).

The Viper II travel are all 7 pcs rods in a beautiful deep green color with metallic green and gold trimmings, and build with top quality fittings like PacBay Minima shooting guides.

Cork is Topline 4 AAAA grade Portuguese cork.
