The A1 G-Carp Specialist has a relatively short inward peak, a short leg and a straight eye. This classic hook shape can be used universally and should be in every Tacklebox.  A1 is the name of a unique material specifically developed for the production of hooks. This material includes, among other components, such as tungsten and vanadium. When using A1 material, the hooks are automatically 20% stronger, so anglers fish for the same objective can choose smaller hook. Smaller hooks offer a better bait presentation and in addition can be fished with smaller baits. An important detail is the fact that a smaller, lighter hook is thinner than conventional hooks. As a result, they penetrate faster and injure the fish less.  A1 hooks keep better, even if an unexpectedly large fish takes the bait. The A1 hooks are 25% stronger than conventional hooks!
