Perfect for bodies on bigger flies, like pike and saltwater, but also rainbow trout patterns or Danish type Shrimp patterns.
Called Palmer Chenille, because the fibers lie flat as on a hackle. They can be pulled to one side - like doubling a hackle - and makes very nice synthetic hackles and palmer hackles - hence the name.
